Sanochemia has elected to focus on the development and manufacture of novel drugs in the indication areas of neurodegeneration, pain and oncology. As an innovative and flexible pharmaceutical specialist, we identify and develop products that offer interesting commercial prospects and address urgent medical needs.

Research and Development
Our Research & Development segment is the top priority within the company. We develop new drugs in therapeutic areas of unmet medical need to substancially improve the quality of life our patients. Sanochemia’s main focus is the clinical development from entry into human through to registration.

Sanochemia avoids the risk associated with in-house lead discovery and research. Our core competence is drug development facilitated by the additional expertise of external partners. Our strength is the accurate assessment of the clinical potential and the thorough selection of our drug development candidates, as well as the fast conduct of proof-of-concept studies. We select target substances with high expected licensing revenue which additionally offer the prospect of utilising our in-house synthesis facilities and manufacturing capacities of our pharmaceutical production plant.
